The Gettysburg Address was more than a war speech. It established our common values as Americans, defined Lincoln’s vision for the future and continues to inspire hope in new generations.
OETA and PBS want you to Learn the Address, video yourself delivering the speech, and share it with the world. OETA is also hosting free learning sessions in OKC and Tulsa where we will explore the speech’s legacy and historical significance.
Monday, February 10, in Oklahoma City, OCU President Robert Henry will deliver remarks and answer questions. Tuesday, February 11, in Tulsa, NSU Professor William Corbett will lead the discussion. More info.
